Product Engineer Benelux

Reporting to the Product Manager, the Product Engineer is responsible for providing the sales team / dealer network with the necessary expertise and tools to enable them to sell the product.  He/She has responsibility to analyze market needs, translate them in product requirements and operate a specific product positioning (line-up and pricing) on the BENELUX market. Next to that, he/she will prepare the technical and commercial documentation for the BENELUX market.   Responsibilities:

• Reach and anticipate business opportunities, collecting market inputs and ensuring the communication flow to central Product Lines.
• Support the commercial launch of new products.
• Update and maintain Technical Sheets and Commercial Documentation personalized for BENELUX market.
• Commercial and Technical Support at exhibitions and fairs.
• Definition of products to offer to customers (Offering of the Product, and the standard definition) in order to satisfy market and customer needs (creation of product catalogues).
• Reviewing of price positioning and discount strategies (Adaptation of European Price List to Market Price List).
• Writing Product Information Newsletter (PINL) with regards to commercial product offer contents like: commercial model names, Std Benelux proposals and catalogue and pack proposals.
• Assist in answering product offer related questions from the local marketing and sales
• Collaborate with the local Marketing and Sales teams and Engineering to maintain and execute changes in the product offer.
• Input and maintain accurate, detailed configuration data in the SAP/EPL.
• Work with Pricing and Marketing to develop European market price lists for internal personnel, field personnel, and dealers per the annual schedule. Publish revisions and configuration changes as required.

  Qualifications & Skills:

• Engineering background or equivalent through experience.
• Marketing or product management and technical product knowledge.
• Fluent in Dutch and English, French is a plus
• Strong PC skills, Knowledge of PRP, SAP preferred.
• Analytical and logical Thinking.
