Job description of activities:

Handle technical responses to protocols, framework agreements, tenders, and private requests. Supporting the sales team to ensure the technical specifications of the proposed vehicles and translate customer needs into orders.

The Technico Commercial Support will be responsible for providing support to the Sales organisation with different activities related to the following domains: offer, order and delivery phase.

1. Offer phase

*Analyze and manage the technical offer during customer consultations (public tenders, private requests, vendor listings). 

*Identify and analyze customer needs during consultations, promote the most relevant technical solutions aligned with internal technical capabilities, and carry out feasibility requests. 

*Preparing the offer using EPL configuration tool and presenting it to local Controller to obtain the SFC (Standard Factory Cost) at the time of the offer, based on the vehicle’s technical configuration, while respecting the qualitative and economic conditions defined by the company.

*Consult suppliers regarding their financial and technical offers, verify feasibility and lead times for the proposed solutions. 

*Distribute the requested components from the tenders to the relevant departments, develop the commercial and technical arguments and prepare the technical documentation and/or additional annexes. 

*Ensure our response is delivered within the deadlines set by the client and verify consistency in case of international deployment (key accounts). 

*Participate in negotiation meetings, using technical expertise to respond to customer questions.

2. Order phase

*Build and document the technical specification of the vehicle to present it to the customer.

*Lead the contract review meeting with the customer and write the minutes of the validated/approved solutions. 

*Translate the customer’s needs into an internal order using the relevant software, including the creation of non-standard configurations. 

*Ensure follow-up of the order in case of customer modifications or internal requirements until production. 

*Monitor the proper execution of the order in line with customer expectations. 

*Lead the pre-delivery inspection of customer vehicles at the factory and advise customers on the technical features of the products and available solutions. 

*Provide technical support in case of commercial and/or factory non-conformities. 

*Manage commercial subcontracting when this solution is necessary.

3. Delivery phase

*Ordering of Pre- Delivery Inspection (PDI) at local dealership.

*Follow-up and monitoring of the delivery process via Cloud files.

*Ordering transport for final delivery.

*Assisting Sales team for delivery and hand-over to Customer.

Required skills:

*You have at least a Bachelor’s degree preferential in a technically oriented field or equivalent in experience.

*You are a driven person and have excellent organizational skills, perseverance as well as strong analytical skills.

*Working independently is your strong point, but you are also a teamplayer.

*Flexible attitude and stress resistance is very important.

*Bilingual Dutch/French with good knowledge of English.
